Golf battery died and now I've got warning lights - did I mess something up? (10 อ่าน)

So I had a bit of a panic moment this morning. My 2019 Golf wouldn't start, just a slow crank and then nothing. I jumped it from my wife's car and it started right up, but then I noticed the traction control light and the lane assist warning were both lit up on the dash, and the auto start-stop wasn't working. I drove it around for about 20 minutes to get some charge back and the lights eventually went off, but the start-stop still isn't working. I'm pretty sure the battery is on its last legs because it's the original one and it's been about five years, but I'm wondering if the warning lights mean something else is going on. I've read that modern VWs can throw all sorts of error codes when the battery voltage drops too low, and sometimes the lights don't clear on their own until you do a proper reset. I'm based in Abu Dhabi and I'm thinking of taking it to a workshop in Musaffah that knows VWs. I need Professional Volkswagen battery replacement in Musaffah from a shop that can not only fit a new battery but also clear any fault codes and make sure everything is working properly afterwards. I'm wondering if the start-stop not working is because the battery is too low, or if I actually need to code the new battery when I fit it. Has anyone here had a similar issue with their Golf or Passat after a jump start, and did a proper battery replacement fix everything? I'd appreciate some advice because I'm a bit worried about driving it with warning lights even though they've cleared for now.
